Hi there! My name is Alyson, and I’m passionate about helping you find what health means to YOU.

I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor who works with families and individuals to develop a strong, flexible, and positive relationship with food. Nourishing food is important for our body and mind, yet the stress many people feel around food often takes away from our overall health. And our wellbeing is so much more than just nutrition and exercise! My goal is to support you in exploring your relationship with food to discover more peace and overall wellbeing.

I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages and specialize in disordered eating and feeding issues. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Health and Environment and a Masters in Public Health, both from the University of Michigan.

My Approach

My approach honors you as the expert of your body and experience. Our work together is rooted in the principles of Health at Every Size® (HAES) and Intuitive Eating (Read more about the HAES principles here and Intuitive Eating here). This means that I am interested in exploring your habits and relationship with food. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes, and there is no eating or exercise pattern that would give us all the same “results". We will work collaboratively together to find a sustainable style of eating that will support your physical, mental, and emotional health for overall wellbeing.
